Be among the first to play Red Dead Redemption 2.

It’s the final countdown. The highly anticipated release of Red Dead Redemption 2 is just a few days away, on Friday, 26 October 2018. BT Games stores countrywide will open at 07h00 to welcome eager fans as they pick up their copy and be of the first in SA to play a game we have been waiting years for!

Those in Cape Town will be pleased to know that on the day of release, BT Games will be running the game for fans to try out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One at Canal Walk shopping centre – as part of the 4th annual Gaming Expo, taking place between 23 October and 28 October. Fans can tuck into complimentary fresh doughnuts and hot coffee to fuel the experience on the day of release, at the centre court in Canal Walk from 7am, and take advantage of the discounted price of the game all weekend long. Hint – BT Games has a killer deal available at the expo this weekend too – a 1TB Xbox One S console with 2 controllers, 2 game download tokens and Red Dead Redemption 2 for just R4499. That’s a R2500 saving and possibly the best reason to get an Xbox One yet.

“We’ve been waiting a long time for the return of the Red Dead franchise, and it’s certainly worth a get together for the gaming community to celebrate,” says Karl Klöpfer, head of Marketing at BT Games. “Canal Walk’s Gaming Expo is the perfect place to do this as we showcase many of the best new games available right now. The expo will be in full swing and heating up for the busy weekend competition schedule – so let’s kick off the weekend with coffee and Red Dead Redemption 2!”

The much anticipated Red Dead Redemption 2 video game is expected to be the standout biggest game release of the year. You can get yours from 26 October, available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – visit Canal Walk’s centre court this Friday at 7am to get your copy and enjoy a great price, doughnuts & coffee. Not in the Mother City? You can visit any BT Games store or order online.
