Lenovo Sets Sights on the Gaming Industry in Africa.

At the Lenovo Innovation Summit, which was held in Cape Town at CTICC, Dilip Bhatia – Vice President of Global Marketing, User and Customer Experience within the Lenovo PC & Smart Device Business Group – met with IT News Africa’s Online Editor, Darryl Linington, in order to discuss how Lenovo is setting its sights the gaming industry in Africa.

Dilip Bhatia is Vice President of Global Marketing, User and Customer Experience within the Lenovo PC & Smart Device Business Group. He leads global Marketing, User and Customer Experience of all consumer and commercial PC and smart device based offerings, including the legendary ThinkPad X1 family, multimode Yoga PCs, Lenovo Legion gaming devices and 2-in-1 detachables.

Prior to this, Dilip was GM of the ThinkPad Business Unit and was also the Vice President of Product Marketing for ThinkPad. He also served a four-year stint in Beijing on international assignment as the Executive Director of Product Marketing for ThinkCentre Commercial Desktop line of offerings.

Dilip has a combined 17 years of experience at both Lenovo and IBM in various roles. Dilip graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with an MBA degree and has a Computer Engineering degree from North Carolina State University. He is based in Morrisville, North Carolina.
