Help is always close at hand
As revealed by the firm, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, and brings Google Assistant to the user’s wrist. Replying to messages, setting reminders, getting directions – LG Watch Style wearers will be able to do it all while they’re on the move. They simply have to hold the power button, or say “Ok Google”, to activate what is essentially a 24/7 personal assistant on their wrist.
The right kind of fit for anyone
Not just a timepiece for techies, the LG Watch Style, as revealed by the firm, will also appeal to the African business professional, busy parent, as well as the sporty and adventurous, thanks to an improved user interface, enhanced messaging and advanced fitness features via Google Fit. The latter enables users to reach their fitness goals, providing them with activities tracking, strength training and coaching capabilities. Users can also download their favourite apps directly from the on-watch Google Play Store.
Prepared to face anything
As stated by the firm, the LG Watch Style features circular displays with a rotating side button for easy and convenient navigation. Users can turn the button with a finger to read messages or scroll through the app menu and notifications. Customisable watch faces allow up to eight complications, so users can see important information at a glance. Users can now handwrite or swipe on a keyboard to respond, or choose a response generated by Smart Reply, powered by Google’s machine learning technology.
The LG Watch Style will be available in South Africa through LG service provider deals coming soon.
