Samsung Electronics has introduced the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which according to the firm is the next level Note for people who want to do bigger things.

As revealed by Samsung, with the Galaxy Note 8, consumers get a bigger Infinity Display that fits comfortably in one hand, S Pen to communicate in more personal ways, and Samsung’s best-ever smartphone camera to capture photos. The Galaxy Note 8, as explained by the firm, is designed for the way consumers lead their lives and lean on technology today.

As revealed by the firm in a press briefing, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will launch in South Africa on 22 September 2017 at a recommended retail price of R18,499. Pre-orders for the Samsung Note opened on 23 August 2017. Consumers who pre-order the device will receive 6 months of Samsung Mobile Care included.

When it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a striking, yet larger, resemblance to the Samsung Galaxy S8; however, its key differences include the added addition of Samsung’s S-Pen as well as a much larger 6.3-inch display. To add to the specs, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes standard with two rear 12MP cameras as well as an 8MP front-facing camera.
