South Africans to take on the world in WESG Grand Finals

12 South African gamers will be participating in this year’s World Electronic Sports Games (WESG) Grand Finals this coming weekend in China according to Zombie Gamer.

Having qualified for the finals in the August 2016 qualifiers in Dubai, where these players and their teams placed top 3 in their respective categories against opponents from Turkey, Middle East and the rest of Africa. The players from Bravado Gaming will be competing for both the CS:GO and Dota 2 titles, while Hearthstone and StarCraft ll will feature Th3Jok3r and Drager respectively. The teams will be fighting it out for their share of $3,7 million across the four different titles.

The tournament will push the gamers to their limits as each title will have 24 competitors vying for the top spot.

The action starts on Thursday with live streaming available from Zombie Gamer.
