Accsys (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Telkom l Business Connexion has scooped the coveted medium enterprise Minister’s Award for Overall Excellence at the Da Vinci Technology Top 100 (TT100) Awards for 2016 presented by Naledi Pandor, Minister of Science & Technology. The Da Vinci TT100 Business Innovation Awards has been recognising innovation and technological expertise in South African companies for over 25 years.

Accsys also won the awards for Management of People, Management of Systems and the Blank Canvas International Award for Sustainability.

Having run for over a quarter of a century, TT100 has moved from being purely an award function to a quantitative and qualitative assessment of the use of technology in business. The adjudication process has been refined to such an extent over the years that now organisations use the metrics to manage and lead their operations.

Accsys were also finalists in the medium enterprise Management of Technology and Management of Innovation Award categories.

“We are exceptionally proud of winning these awards and being finalists in the other categories,” says Teryl Schroenn, CEO of Accsys. “The rigorous adjudication process and the results we have achieved are testaments to the work that we are doing at Accsys and show that our passion and perseverance as an organisation are reaping rewards.”

“Passion, perseverance and innovation have always been traits that we value within the organisation. Our subsidiaries play an enormous role in our overall success and we are extremely proud of what Accsys has achieved,” says Isaac Mophatlane, CEO of Telkom l Business Connexion.
