At the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Netflix chief executive, Reed Hastings, revealed that Netflix is now available in over 130 countries across the globe

Netflix had been largely unavailable to the continent of Africa as well as Asia; however, with the announcement, this has changed.

Netflix currently features a variety of top-rated movies and series, which include the likes of Sense 8, Jessica Jones, The 100, and many more. With the service now live, globally, here is a list of some of the current countries in Africa that finally have access to the video on demand service.
