The company has over 50 employees on the ground, and has – according to the company – been backed by multiple European companies.

With the having a firm place in the E-commerce sector, it has now revealed the top 3 BlackBerry devices sold on the platform, which can be found below.

BlackBerry Leap
Taking a closer look at the specs of the BlackBerry Leap, we found that the device runs on the BlackBerry 10.3.1 operating system. The operating system is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm 8960 dual-core processor as well as 2GB RAM. The device also features 16GB of on board storage space; however, this can be expanded up to 128GB with the addition of a microSD card.

The BlackBerry Leap is Android App compatible. The device also comes with a five-inch HD display, which is surprisingly not accompanied by the traditional BlackBerry keyboard. BlackBerry has done away with the traditional keyboard and instead opted for a touchscreen keyboard this time around. This was a great move by BlackBerry as the Leap’s touchscreen is fast, accurate, and easy to use. To add to the functionality, the onscreen keyboard features error correction, multi-language support, and customised adaption and flow.

Incorporated into the attractive design is an 8-megapixel rear camera as well as a 2-megapixel front facing camera. In terms of battery life, BlackBerry Leap is most definitely a powerhouse. While most smartphones last for around 8-9 hours, we got around 18 hours of battery life out of the Leap, with heavy usage.

The average cost for the BlackBerry Leap is USD $275, dependent on the rate of exchange.

BlackBerry Z3
A slightly older device; however, much cheaper. The BlackBerry Z3 is attractive in design, functionality as well as pricing. The BlackBerry Z3 comes in at USD $215, dependent on the rate of exchange. The device comes with an entry-level Snapdragon 400 dual-core 1.2Ghz processor, which is accompanied by 1.5GB of RAM.

The Z3 packs in a 5 megapixel rear facing camera as well as a 1.1 megapixel front facing camera. While the device has a rather low storage capacity of 8GB, you can however expand on this, up to 32GB of storage space, via the device’s MicroSD slot.

The device features a 5-inch QHD touchscreen display, which performs rather well when watching a variety of clips as well as during general device usage.

When it comes to the devices operating system, the BlackBerry Z3 is powered by the BlackBerry 10 OS, which is essentially version 10.2.1. As an added bonus, the device is Android app compatible; however, only a certain range are apps are available at the moment for the device. These include the likes of Instagram and the rather controversial, yet highly addictive, Candy Crush Saga.

The Z3 features a 2500mAh battery, which essentially does a great job at keeping the device up and running for up to two days – depending on the amount of time spent using the device. This is especially great for the younger generation who use their device for not only social networking and a bit of gaming, but also for research as well as their studies.

The average cost for the BlackBerry Leap is USD $215, dependent on the rate of exchange.
