Alcatel-Lucent has revealed the appointment of Ramy Hashem as country senior officer and MD for Ghana.
According to the company, Hashem will assume overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, and will take the lead on strategic business directions.
Based in Accra, Hashem will report to Alpin Verlet, head of Alcatel-Lucent’s activities in the West and Central Africa region. Hashem is the former CTO for Alcatel-Lucent in the Middle East.
Hashem holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics and Communication from the University of Ain Shams in Cairo, as well as a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde in the UK.
