Airtel Rwanda recently unveiled its interactive self-service platform. The platform titled “MAMO” (My Airtel My Offer) has been designed to enable customer access to a variety of Airtel products from their mobile device.
According to Airtel, MAMO will enable customers to subscribe to different services and access various products without having to reach out to contact centres or use USSD codes. The platform supports the following languages Kinyarwanda, English and French and can be accessed by calling the toll-free short code 141.
Last week, Airtel Nigeria announced that the company will be touring rural areas in order to create internet awareness. The empowerment initiative will focus on creating awareness for ICT use and uptake.
