Vodacom Business has recently extended its Long Term Evolution (LTE) offering to cater for small businesses with Vodacom Broadband Connect LTE.
According to Vodacom Business, the service has been designed to support companies with up to four employees. Additionally, the company stated that the product is intended to provide affordable access to high speed connectivity in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town at any time.
According to Ermano Quartero, Managing Executive: Products and Services at Vodacom Business: “To thrive in today’s competitive environment, businesses need to be scalable, connected and responsive. Broadband Connect LTE enables small businesses to be Ready Businesses by providing high quality broadband connectivity to increase workforce productivity, improve customer relationships and support collaboration with colleagues, suppliers and partners – the core tenets of a Ready Business. ”
Broadband Connect LTE is a fixed wireless broadband technology designed to deliver internet access via a Wi-Fi router to personal computers, laptops, tablets and cellphones at speeds up to three times faster than 3G. “Broadband Connect LTE is a game changer when it comes to how small businesses experience the internet,” says Quartero. “Its higher speeds of approximately 9Mbps and lower latency mean a more stable user experience.”
Vodacom Broadband Connect LTE is available on various Monthly Allowance Options either a 12 or 24 month contract. The packages range from R479 for a 12 month package, which consists of 5GB of data, to R1679 for a 12 month contract that consists of 40GB of data.
