Ghana: Tecno Mobile launches R7 Smartphone

Tecno Mobile recently unveiled a new addition to its smartphone range, the Tecno R7. The mobile device was unveiled in Accra, the capital city of Ghana, at a short ceremony held by the company.

According to, the R7 is the first 1.5 GHz 6 Core Processor handheld device on the Ghanaian market. The device runs on the Android 4.2 jelly bean operating system, and features a 5.5 MP camera. The R7 also accommodates a 3.75G mobile data connection, giving users tremendous speed, power, and unlimited surfing and streaming options.

Tecno business development manager, Daniel Glover stated that, “The R7 is futuristic in many ways, and it was built to not only cater for our current customers, but also our future customers.”

TECNO was the first dual SIM mobile phone brand to hit the market in Africa, and TECNO has successfully translated advanced technology into superior localized products. According to information on their website, TECNO puts heavy consideration on the customers experience and endeavors to provide the customer with the most suitable products for their environment by adopting the latest innovative technology.
