Tech Demo Africa 2014 will offer leading technology companies an opportunity to showcase technology solutions to a captive audience comprising key industry players, as well as local and international media.

Abe Wakama, Publisher of IT News Africa, says the event gives business leaders an opportunity to directly engage the market and showcase their products and innovation.

“It is primarily an opportunity for service providers and vendors to demo products, devices, mobile apps, software, and a range of technology solutions to an audience of IT executives, technology enthusiasts as well as local and international media. Those who demo their products and services will also be allotted exhibition stands through which they will be able to further engage with delegates,” he said.

In terms of speakers, David Visser, Chief Information Officer of Coca-Cola Southern Africa; Chose Choeu, Managing Director of Corporate Affairs for Eskom; and Frank Rizzo, Technology Sector Lead for KPMG in Africa will all be captivating the delegates with informative presentations.

Professor Ray Kekwaletswe of Wits University; Pieter Du Toit Oosthuizen, Vice President for IT Strategy and Portfolio at AngloGold Ashanti; and Howard Fox, Executive Director for Marketing at GIBS will also be in attendance.

The conference offers businesses a credible, cost effective and powerful platform to demonstrate their latest game-changing products and solutions, focusing on five key areas: Big Data, Mobility, Cloud, Enterprise Social, and Data Security.

Delegates will be treated to cutting-edge demos, engaging keynotes, product launches, lively panel discussions, and presentations by noted local and international speakers – and experience an awesome technology exhibition area.

“Demo sponsors will also be featured in print and online publications, and across a number social media platforms. This is a golden opportunity to enhance your brand, increase exposure and close deals,” concluded Wakama.
