Microsoft has announced the local availability of its latest business productivity software offering, namely Office 365 Personal. Office 365 Personal enables users to install the latest full desktop version of Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote as well as Outlook onto one PC or Mac.
Additionally, buyers are also able to install Office onto a tablet (either a Windows-powered tablet or iPad) and multiple smartphones (iOS and Android, Office Mobile is already free on Windows Phones). This makes Office 365 Personal well-tailored towards the needs of users who require a more affordable, single Office 365 subscription that enables all of the popular Office applications to be installed onto a breadth of devices.
Users also receive 20 GB of OneDrive cloud-based storage, free tech support from Microsoft Call Centre, and their subscription allows them to unlock additional Microsoft services including 60 Skype world minutes per month for call to anyone of 60+ countries landline and 7 countries landline and mobile.
“By offering Office 365 Personal, in addition to Office 365 Home and Office 365 University, we are better positioned to deliver the right Office to a broader range of South African households–whether it’s an individual or a family of five,” says Uriel Rootshtain, Business Group Lead of the Office Division at Microsoft South Africa.
“Whichever Office 365 is right for you, you’ll enjoy the freedom to get work done at home, school, or on the go–on any device,” Rootshtain concluded.
Office365 Personal is available for purchase from Office.com and through our online and retail partners for the recommended retail price of R59,99 per month or R 599,99 per year.
