Westcon-Comztek appoints new Samsung channel manager

Leading value-added distributor, Westcon-Comztek has placed further importance on establishing fruitful and profitable vendor and reseller partnerships by way of its appointment of Mandre Stander as Samsung channel manager.

Reporting to Heinz Stephan, Consumer Solutions business unit director at Westcon-Comztek, Stander’s role will be to guide, support and help its value-added resellers (VARs) to succeed in building new, and maintaining current partnerships around the Samsung brand as well as assist in ensuring a profitable relationship for both parties.

Prior to his appointment at Westcon-Comztek, Stander worked at Axiz in the role of IBM product marketing manager, served as product manager at EMC and worked at Horizon (Sun Microsystems) as channel marketing manager.

“Mandre joins our team, bringing with him an excellent product and channel management track record which we believe will be an asset to the Consumer Solutions division of Westcon-Comztek. We look forward to tapping into his extensive knowledge in developing channel partnerships and relationships from both a vendor and reseller perspective,” states Stephan.
