On Wednesday 04 September Nokia South Africa unveiled future products to be released in Africa to the media in Johannesburg.
While there were a number of current models up for viewing, Nokia’s showcase aimed to show off all the products that they are currently working on – particularly the Lumia 1020.
“It’s our new flagship model, and every time they take a picture, we want them to take the best picture they can with the best quality. We think it will change the way people create and share images,” he said, referring to the Lumia 1020’s 41-megapixel camera,” said Ifi Majid, Nokia’s head of Global Smart Device Experiences.
“Clearly the back is now the new front, as it has a 41MP camera at the back. The phone’s camera is the centre of attention, and we tried to create something that would revolutionise photography but still being pocketable,” he explained.
ITNewsAfrica was there to capture all the exciting action.
