MTN, a telecommunications operator in Nigeria, launched a new data bundle to provide affordable access to Eskimi, a 6 million size mobile social network in the country. The bundle is available in two packages: weekly for 25 Naira (approximately 15 US cents) and monthly for 60 Naira (approximately 37 US cents). Users of Eskimi bundle can enjoy browsing Eskimi for the selected period without any additional charge.
The solution will allow bundle users to browse all Eskimi pages: messages, profiles, fan clubs, chat rooms, forums, music content for a small weekly or monthly fee and at a fair usage data cap.
MTN Nigeria subscribers can order Eskimi bundle by sending SMS ESKW for a weekly plan or ESKM for a monthly data bundle to the short code 131. The bundle can also be activated by USSD dialing *662*1*3# and selecting the preferred bundle option.
