Top-flight speakers confirmed for Innovation Dinner Nigeria

The next Innovation Dinner Nigeria is shaping up to be the biggest so far.
IT News Africa has secured the participation of top-flight speakers as well as confirmed the attendance of senior IT executives, academics, industry analysts and representatives of leading national publications.

IT News Africa, together with key sponsors Internet Solutions West Africa and SAP Africa, is proud to announce the speakers for the 2nd Innovation Dinner Nigeria. This invitation-only event will be held at Best Western, The Island Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on the 7th of November, 2012.

As enterprise adoption of cloud computing accelerates, organizations must have a strategy and roadmap for moving to the cloud. Faced with different options including building a private cloud, subscribing to public clouds, or leveraging a hybrid cloud, organizations need a rational and pragmatic approach. ITNewsAfrica’s Innovation Dinner Nigeria will explore the emerging trends in cloud computing and offer best practices for how organizations can successfully navigate a journey to the cloud.

Keynote speakers at the dinner will include Steve Herridge, Chief Executive Officer: West Africa at Internet Solutions, Saidu Abdullahi, Head of IT (West Africa), Cadbury Nigeria Plc., Patrick Nzegbuna, Business Intelligence Manager for Nigeria Bottling Company, Aderinola Oloruntoye, Solution Manager – Business Analytics & Technology, SAP West Africa. Technology journalists from across the country will also to be in attendance.

Steve Herridge
Steve Herridge holds the position of Chief Executive Officer: West Africa at Internet Solutions, having been appointed in October 2009. In 1997 Steve moved into the Solutions business at Dimension Data within the Business Intelligence Software team to help sell and grow the solution set. Until his recent appointment, Steve held the position of Branch Manager – KZN for 8 years. Steve has now joined the West African team to be involved in the exciting new market and grow the business in the region.

Saidu Abdullahi
Saidu Abdullahi, Head of IT (West Africa), Cadbury Nigeria Plc. An alumnus of Harvard Business School, Saidu Abdullahi is an experienced IT Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst and General Manager skilful at taking projects from conception to completion while entrenching continuous improvement practices for the business processes they create. He has worked with several multi-nationals in and outside Nigeria including Shell, British American Tobacco, Virgin Nigeria and Cadbury.

Patrick Nzegbuna
Patrick Nzegbuna, Business Intelligence Manager for Nigeria Bottling Company. Prior to his current position at Nigerian Bottling Company, Patrick was IDC’s lead analyst in West Africa where he was responsible for coordinating and conducting research on the region’s IT markets. In addition to assessing how economic, social, and political factors influence the future of IT markets, he was responsible for advising organizations on the best way to apply market research to strategic decision making.

Aderinola Oloruntoye
Aderinola Oloruntoye is responsible for managing and growing SAP business analytics and technology solutions across West Africa. For more than a decade, he has been solely focused on helping companies obtain insight from diverse data sources to optimize corporate performance. He is an SAP BusinessObjects Certified Professional with extensive business intelligence consulting and learning facilitation experience across the public, oil and gas, telecommunications, and banking sectors.
