Mobile operator Glo has released a new bundled mobile package in Nigeria, called Glo Pocket Internet, which will allow Internet users to surf the web faster on their mobile phones.
“All Glo subscribers can now enjoy super-fast and reliable connectivity to the Internet and perform web-related tasks all day with their handheld devices. In addition to Internet browsing, Facebook and Twitter, they can also download files and check emails among numerous other web-based activities,” said General Manager of Prepaid Marketing for Globacom, Ashutosh Tiwary.
While mobile users can already access the Internet on their mobile phones in Nigeria, the latest package from Glo will increase the download speeds significantly, while there is no need for added components.
“With this product, a busy executive or student can browse and download as much as he wants while on the go”, Tiwary added.
Glo Pocket Internet will be available in four different tariff plans, which will cater for varying budget profiles and usage patterns. It will also allow users to monitor how much they send on their total Internet bill.
