Apple passes Google and Microsoft
While most tech companies’ stock prices are declining, Apple’s indicated their stock price jumped to $493 per share, well beyond Google and Microsoft. At the current price, the company is worth $456 billion — more than Microsoft and Google combined.
Simultaneously, Google’s shareprice sits at $189.9 billion, sliding down 9% since the company announced lower revenues. Microsoft dropped 6%, with the Windows division valued at $4.7 billion.
“Apple’s market cap has grown tremendously, part in thanks to the iPhone business, which is alone worth $222 billion. Think about that for a second – the iPhone business revenue is now worth more than Microsoft,” MyBroadband wrote.
