Customers that purchase an MTN Pay as you Go starter pack will receive R120 free airtime, over a period of a year, every time they recharge with R60 air time.

“New MTN customers can now stay in touch with their family and friends for the whole year. This is in addition to a bouquet of MTN products and services that seek to offer value, flexibility and response to customer needs,” said MTN South Africa Chief Marketing Officer, Serame Taukobong.

Other benefits include 10 free daily call-backs, 5 free SMS for every 15 SMSs the customers sends and 30 free SMSs per month.

The R120 free airtime is spread over 12 months, therefore the customer receives R10 per month. In order to get the R10 airtime the customer is required to recharge with a minimum (non-cumulative) of R60 per month.

This offer is valid for a year from purchase. If a customer migrates out of this price plan anytime within the 12 months, they will lose this benefit.

“The promotion is open from 01 Dec 2011 and ends on 20 May 2012. This is another way that MTN is allowing customer Ayoba to shine during this festive season,” concludes Taukobong.
