Cisco, a networking company, has appointed Stefano Mattiello to assume the role of Director Channel for Cisco in South Africa. Mattiello’s mandate is to re-energise the channel partner model, reporting directly to Cisco’s South African country manager, David Meads.
Mattiello will also be play a core role in defining Cisco’s Channel strategy in South Africa as well as rolling out the company’s new sales model to partners.

Stefano’s ability to grow revenues and provide strategic input on how we can further grow our business makes him a valuable addition to our already experienced local leadership team,” says David Meads, country manager for Cisco South Africa.

Prior to joining Cisco, Mattiello was the chief sales and marketing officer for Neotel, responsible for building and launching its enterprise business.
Before joining Neotel, Mattiello held positions at Motorola between 2004 and 2007 and Sun Microsystems as the managing director, doubling the size of the local operation in three years.
Mattiello has over the course of his career, demonstrated an ability to strongly execute both technology and business imperatives across South Africa’s Information Technology and Communications sector.
