Inwi launches Moroccan customer loyalty scheme

February 22, 2011 • Mobile and Telecoms

Inwi in Morocco, announced the roll out of Sicap Customer Retention Platform, a flexible, plug and play solution which rewards Inwi subscribers for their mobile, fixed or Internet service loyalty.

The Sicap Customer Retention Platform is powered by the “Loyalty Manager”, a flexible real-time promotions and campaigning enabler.

Unlike its older legacy platforms still running in the majority of networks, promotions on the Sicap platform will be configured without any IT development, making even small-scale or batch promotions worthwhile, the company said.

“Inwi can easily set up and test the effectiveness of loyalty campaigns on selected customer segments using the Sicap platform. This puts Moroccan newcomer Inwi in a strategic position to pursue a segmented loyalty and retention strategy with very quick turnaround times, and suits the newcomer’s policy of changing the face of the market, especially for young Moroccan subscribers, by being creative and innovative in its offer,” the company said in a press statement.

There are numerous commercial advantages of the Sicap Customer Retention Platform. Inwi can, for instance, stimulate service usage by offering bonus points or SMS or special offers. Inwi has already kicked-off Sicap loyalty promotions which reward high-value subscribers with points or prizes.

According to Izmar, CIO at Inwi, “We chose the Sicap Customer Retention Platform for its flexibility and ease of use by non-technical staff. Our marketing team can now launch trial campaigns and react instantly to strategic opportunities. The Sicap solution was integrated seamlessly into our billing and self-care platforms and has already proven successful in driving service usage.”
