September 7, 2010 • Enterprise

Systems integrator Red Man Technologies, whose consultants have specialised in IBM WebSphere software since the early 1990s, has been awarded PartnerWorld Premier Partner status.

Achievement of this elite status is based on revenue generated for IBM WebSphere software along with Red Man Technologies’ specialised skills and certification in selling and implementing WebSphere solutions,” says IBM SA channel manager Joe Ruthven.

“As a Premier Partner, they gain access to IBM’s industry insight and resources, co-marketing funding and training, such as the ‘You Pass We Pay’ education reimbursement, along with technical support and dedicated account management, while IBM benefits by having increased skills in the market.”

“Achieving a high level of technical certification is in line with our commitment to developing our people, and our commitment to developing expertise in WebSphere software,” says Hein Pretorius, CEO of Red Man Technologies.

“We believe WebSphere delivers an effective applications infrastructure that enables interconnected business processes in sectors such as financial services and telecommunications.

“The systems integration skills and experience of Red Man Technologies, coupled with the WebSphere suite of software products, deliver smarter business solutions that not only boost business competitiveness and agility but save on operating and resource costs.

“As one of the elite 4% of partners that have attained Premier Partner status, we know that clients can be comfortable that we have a proven track record based on deep knowledge and experience. We foresee continued growth for both parties in this partnership.”

Red Man Technologies designs, develops, implements and supports complex integrated information technology solutions. It combines business insight and best-in-class information technologies with the skills to deliver integrated systems on which agile businesses operate.
