SAP Africa appoints new Marketing Director

SAP Africa has announced the appointment of Mncedisi Mayekiso to the position of Marketing Director as from January 2010.

Mncedisi Mayekiso is responsible for driving demand generation and marketing activities across Sub-Saharan Africa and continue building SAP brand as one of the top ICT providers on the continent.

“Our goal is to partner with governments, businesses and communities across Africa to use our technologies in accelerating socio-economic development; enabling service delivery, business growth and bridging the digital divide”, said Mayekiso.

Previously, Mayekiso was Executive Director and Marketing head at Faritec Holdings, where he designed and implemented the marketing strategy for Faritec brand.

Apart from Faritec, he was Executive Director for Business Development at Enterprise Connection and held positions as Partner Sales Manager at Microsoft S.A and Product Marketing Manager at IBM S.A.
