PANA reported that Zain plans are underway to increase its outlets in all major urban centres and high human traffic areas to boost product availability and improve the customer experience.
The project includes a new uniform for all shop staff in the brand colour – predominantly black with a hue of pink and aqua.
Zain said today it supports local talent and a local designer was engaged to produce the new look uniforms.
All frontline staff in all Zain outlets are already wearing the new look.
Refurbishment of the Existing outlets currently located in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret and Nyeri towns are being refurbished with new Zain visual effects.
Zain Kenya Managing Director, Rene Meza, said the initiative included all other staff who would be dressed in a more relaxed look in line with the young spirited d market that Zain intends to capture moving forward.
“We are delighted to bring the new look to our customers and more importantly, Zain is bringing a fresh approach to the market by offering communication solutions that fits the needs of our young spirited customers, be it corporate or individual”, added Rene.
Already, Zain has aggressively rolled out its advertising on all major highways and intends to continue dominating the landscape visually with a very aggressive brand roll out through outdoor advertising, electronic and print media.
This includes the very distinctive ‘hot pink’ vehicles along all highways in the country.
Zain is a leading emerging market player in the field of telecommunications aiming to become one of the top 10 mobile operators in the world by 2011.
